PUNK VALUES

The Saint Louis City Punks community prides itself on being a space for authenticity and living our values as human beings. We believe that the collective is as important as the individual. To ensure that our members represent the values we uphold as leaders of the group and organization, we ask that everyone who wants to Walk Among Us acknowledge and agree to the Code of Conduct below.

SLCP MEMBERSHIP CODE OF CONDUCT

Saint Louis City Punks is committed to fostering a welcoming and positive environment rooted in the St. Louis community and open to all, regardless of background. We believe in inclusivity and aim to be part of creating the best supporter section experience in Major League Soccer.

As such, violence, racism, sexism, homophobia, xenophobia, threats, and all forms of discrimination or harassment will not be tolerated. This commitment is also rooted in our community beyond the confines of St. Louis’s MLS Stadium on match day. Whether at public events, watch parties, or away games, our actions reflect the Saint Louis City Punks.

Anyone violating this Code of Conduct will face disciplinary action, including removal from the Saint Louis City Punks. All members, regardless of position or tenure with the group, will be subject to and held to the same standard under this Code of Conduct. Members of the Leadership Board may be held to a higher standard than others.

In a nutshell, it is up to each member to deliver on our commitment to having a safe supporter group. This starts by speaking up when you see or hear something that goes against our code of conduct. It is all our responsibility to hold each other accountable. This includes addressing the person in question during the incident and then passing on that information to Punk leadership so they are aware of the incident and can take appropriate action. We are all accountable for making the Punks better.

Disclaimer: In instances where the behavior or actions of an individual member are seen as detrimental to the community, membership may be terminated. While instances of such an occurrence would be rare, and typically preceded by violations of the Code of Conduct, SLCP leadership does reserve the right to revoke membership at their discretion.
